ENTERING THE AWARDS

Everything you need to know about entering the Air Cargo News Awards

The deadline for entries is Friday June 2.

You can enter the Air Cargo News Awards HERE. Entrants are required to explain in no more than 1000 words, divided into three criteria, why they deserve the award (appendices are excluded from this count). Supporting evidence that is clearly referenced in the entry must also be provided.

All work must be entered using our online entry system.

1. Select the category you wish to enter (You can select additional categories from the drop down menu in the basket and then clicking the green + button)

2. You will then be redirected to a registration page for new users or login page for returning users

3. You will need to supply the following information for each category you enter:

  • Company name
  • Company logo
  • 50 word summary of the entry
  • 1,000 word PDF entry
  • Supporting material (optional)
  • 1 high resolution image that supports your entry - this will be used in the awards presentation if shortlisted

**Some categories may require specific additional information included, please ensure that you have thoroughly read the category criteria**

4. Once all mandatory fields have been answered you can Submit your entry.

5. A Confirmation email will be automatically emailed to the address assigned to the login credentials as soon as you complete your order. If this is not received check your junk mail folder and contact events@aircargonews.net

Yes (one entry per category).

Any company of any size that conducts business in the international air cargo sector is eligible to enter the awards for free, in as many categories as they like (one entry per category). Entries which have been entered in a previous Air Cargo News Awards competition and have not been significantly updated are not eligible for this year’s competition.

Entries that do not comply with the category criteria will be marked down or rejected. Please check the category criteria to ensure you are eligible to enter. Judges reserve the right to move any entries that they feel would better fit another category at the awards.

Yes - sponsors are very welcome to enter the awards, but are not able to enter the category they are sponsoring.

Entries will be judged by a team of senior independent figures within the air cargo industry.

By entering the awards all entrants agree to publicity in respect to their entry both before and after the awards presentation. Any confidential data within the entry must be clearly highlighted as such and will not be published. All judges sign confidentiality agreements meaning they cannot discuss information within the entries outside of the judging day. Please note you cannot list all information in an entry as confidential.

The shortlist will be announced in late July. You will be contacted via email to let you know whether or not your entry was successful. The winner will be revealed at our awards ceremony, taking place at Hilton London Syon Park on Thursday October 12, 2023.

Of course! Award winners may state in advertising/promotional activity that they are a winner. This must include the category and the year in which the award was won.

The copyright of all materials assembled will remain the property of the organiser. These may be used for the purpose of publicising the Awards.

ATTENDING THE AWARD

Everything you need to know about attending the awards

The Air Cargo News Awards will be held on Thursday October 12, 2023 at the Hilton London Syon Park.

Individual tickets are charged at £245 + VAT each
Standard tables of 10 are charged at £2,000 + VAT each
Early bird tables of 10 purchased by 17:00 GMT, Friday June 2, 2023 will be charged at £1,800 + VAT

Ticket price includes a welcome drink on arrival plus a 3-course dinner, half a bottle of wine per person, awards presentation and entry to the post-awards networking.

Please note that hotel accommodation and drinks, other than those stated, are not included in the ticket price.

Seats must be booked online via the bookings page

Once you have selected your product you can opt to pay for this via credit card or via invoice.

Invoices and credit card receipts will be attached to your booking confirmation email and sent at the time of purchase.

All tickets must be paid ahead of the award ceremony and in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice.
